Court-Ordered DUI Evaluations and Classes
If you’ve been arrested for DUI (driving under the influence) or DWI (driving while intoxicated) in the State of Georgia, you will be required to undergo a court-ordered clinical assessment, which may recommend that you complete substance abuse counseling. Medlock Bridge Counseling Center is on the approved State of Georgia registry for DUI intervention and our licensed professional counselors have the experience and training to help you satisfy court-ordered requirements for DUI charges.

Many times, criminal defense attorneys will recommend that clients undergo a clinical evaluation before their court date or hearing to prepare for the case. Medlock Bridge Counseling Center offers clinical evaluations for those who receive a single DUI or multiple DUIs within 10 years. We also can assist those who are required by the court or by a probation officer to get an evaluation, or for individuals wishing to have an assessment for their own needs.
When you get a DUI, you should expect to:
Connect with an attorney See an alcohol and drug evaluator who will recommend treatment or no treatment. Your clinical evaluation will go to several people, including your attorney. Attend all court dates and probation appointments Attend DUI school Pay all fines Attend all court-ordered treatment sessions Perform required community service
