How do I make an appointment?

Call us at 770.495.6339 and ask to make an appointment. We can arrange for one of our licensed professional counselors to speak with you. We can usually see new clients within a week or sooner depending on your situation.

We are located in the historic Old Warsaw School Building near the intersection of State Bridge Road and Medlock Bridge Road in Johns Creek. Look for the single story brick building between the BP station and Pike Nursery. For driving directions, please click here.

What are qualifications?

Our licensed counselor, David Tillis, has more than 30 years of professional counseling experience. For more information about David’s specific backgrounds, see our Clinical Staff section.

Do you offer testing?

Yes. We are approved by the Georgia DHR Risk Reduction Program and the Multiple Offender Program (MOP) as a Clinical Evaluator and Clinical Treatment providers. We evaluate all of our clients to determine the best treatment options.

What if this is an emergency?

IF THIS IS AN EMERGENCY, if you feel suicidal or if you feel like you want to hurt yourself of someone else, CALL 911, call your DOCTOR, or go to the nearest EMERGENCY ROOM IMMEDIATELY!

What are your fees?

Our fees vary according to the services required. The first initial session may be longer than others and may be slightly more in cost. Our fees for court-ordered clinical treatment and clinical evaluations are standard and can be found in those sections of the website. Fees will be discussed in detail during the free phone consultation.

When should you seek professional counseling?

Good indicators are when your level of pain becomes uncomfortable, you are having difficulties concentrating, or are having difficulties at work or home. It’s best not to wait until you are at the end of your rope and the pain is unbearable.

Our professional mental health counseling services include treatment for overcoming depression, anxiety and panic attacks, ADD and ADHD, marriage counseling, PTSD, and grief or loss counseling.

Medlock Bridge Counseling Center provides drug and alcohol evaluations and treatment also called: DUI classes, Georgia DUI clinical evaluations, substance abuse assessment, substance abuse evaluation, alcohol assessment, alcohol evaluation, clinical evaluation, addiction evaluation, or ASAM Level 1.0 Treatment that have been court ordered or as a preemptive response to being convicted of a DUI or drug possession in the State of Georgia.

We also offer anger management assessments and anger counseling which may also be called: anger assessment, clinical anger assessment, clinical anger evaluation, anger management evaluation, anger treatment, and anger management programs which are compliant with the State of Georgia.
